we're happy to announce a new formed partnership with  uniq-gaming.
they're participating in the esl warcraft 3 amateur series, wc3 german league and wc3cl and seem to do pretty well there. they're also running a call of duty 4 - modern warfare and a dota squad. with more than 40 members they probably aim for a nice and successfull future in online gaming.
when Baddy came up asking us for a sponsoring i was quite confused because he talked about a lot of non sense but anyway, in the end we figured out what they need and (even when it took some time) we rolled out a high quality 32 slot teamspeak server. though the question was about a 24 slot but since we only run them with 16,32,64,128 slots we thought just to add that 8 slots as a bonus feature. nice huh? ^^
we're looking forward to a enjoyable future for both sides, as we are well experienced with hosting different types of clans we can promise a good and reliable service 24/7.
we're now currently supporting more than 14 clans/guilds and have some more space for those who are interested.

i just heared that the second attempt "Banshee Champion" came to an dead end.  Escavienne who promised us a stable guild with success failed in this case again. after some intensive chats about that stuff i swooped from my previous idea just to kick her out and just find an existing guild to sponsor and to obtain to our clan.
in the end it seemed to be the right choice not to rush any hestitated actions and keep the things quite.
but anyway i played wow aswell, up to level 20 ! (which was enough for me !) and whats wrong on the Darkspear server ? thousands of players and only, as far as i know, 2 horde guilds who managed to kill illidan.
no, never.. i wont drop in to manage Escavienne's job and i doubt i would be in the right position aswell as I'm a so-called "lowbie".
since the wow squad website is still in progress we'll have to see and wait for further progress.

welcome back to another news, i am currently getting a flu so if my news will be weird - don't blame me.
so, we finally picked a new guild name. sylvanas pride is now official dead and we gonna start trough with "Banshee Champion". after a very long discussion about 3 hours just talking about a new guildname with Escavienne we decided to pick this one.
the progress on the wow website is around.. let me think.. 80 percent. i made some minor changes here and there but it raped the content management system which means Seth needs to recode some essential elements. i wanted to release some polls about "what-to-offer" there but i just thought why not publish and put everything on the website what i had in mind. for example we will offer a small download section with the most important addons for raids and some other things.
comparing the wow subsite to the axs-gaming one, the wow site will contain less content, just the most popular things. oh, and there will be a forum ! we dont need one here on the main site so why not add it there ;]
furthermore we're currently in a discussion about a new sponsorship for an warcraft 3 - frozen throne clan. if everything will be in time we gonna announce it in the next news. i won't tell you more at the moment, if you want to know more check back in the next days.
a launch is not predicted yet for the wow squad site but we're working on it, as far as i know Escavienne has not made any efforts in getting a stable team yet which give us some time to focus on the website.

World of Warcraft Squad

i just wanted to let you know that our world of warcraft squad "sylvanas pride" is currently inactive.
i don't want to tell you tales and lores about it to make it sound good, the fact is that the whole guild died as (almost) everyone has left so far.
anyway, here in aXs-Gaming, we know how to deal with those kickbacks and we decided to put more efforts into the wow squad as we're unable to get the ut99/ut3 squads running so far. i personally enjoy to get a task which is suitable for me again.
according to this (tho i have to say i started earlier on this project when Escavienne came up with the question) we're currently only a few steps away to finish our world of warcraft themed website for our squad to run it via a subdomain.
the design is purely designed from scratch, even if it looks a bit like the official wrath of the lich king website, it took ages to work out those detailed stuff but i'm proud of it ! the complete content management system is coded by Seth.

we're still thinking of giving "ex" sylvanas pride a nice new guildname to represent the intention of forming a server #1 guild but to be honest we're still in the need of a new cool name :/
last but not least, don't worry about that news, as you can see the squad will come back in the next time even better and more efficient as it was before. so in this case, enjoy the timeout and let us handle the job for you.

I guess it is time to introduce you a bit more to our Guild(name) as we were forced to protect our Leader, Sylvanas Windrunner recently from being attacked by the not-so-mighty Alliance.
Lady Sylvanas Windrunner is a level ?? faction leader located in the Royal Quarter in Undercity. She is the founder of the Forsaken faction of undead, who are currently allied with the Horde. She has styled herself the Dark Lady, Queen of the Forsaken, an expansion of her original title, the Banshee Queen.
As leader of the Forsaken and the Horde on the Eastern Kingdoms, Sylvanas is a military genius. The middle sister of Alleria and Vereesa Windrunner, she was Ranger General of the high elf kingdom of Quel'Thalas. She fought valiantly against Arthas when he invaded Quel'thalas, but during the fall of Silvermoon, Arthas raised her as an undead minion as a form of petty revenge. When the Lich King's hold on his undead minions weakened, Sylvanas, among other undead, regained their free will, and she led her forces against the dreadlords who had taken hold over the northern country of Lordaeron. After dislodging the dreadlords and their mind-controlled human "allies," she affirmed her sovereignty by killing off the remaining humans and bending the dreadlord Varimathras to her will. She renamed her force of self-aware undead the Forsaken and declared herself their queen. Under her leadership the Forsaken have managed to not only fend off the Scourge, but also the Scarlet Crusade. She has a certain mastery of leadership, military strategy, and the bow. She is also adept at demon magic, having the ability to drain life, create skeletons, and mind control.
It was late at night, when a few Shouts hit the Main Chat in the Capitals. The Alliance is preparing to Raid Undercity! So, all the nightowls who were still awake travelled to Undercity to check out the Situation. What can I say, after we arrived in the Ruins of Lordaeron we soon recognized that we were already in the middle of a great Clash between the Alliance and the Horde. They pushed us back into the Heart of Undercity and we decided to secure the Royal Quarters and of course, Lady Sylvanas.
In the end, we managed to strike back and even when almost everyone went to bed, a few started to eradicate a few Towns and ended up in Victory.

The Arcatraz is the third wing of the Tempest Keep instance, and is a prison where the Naaru jailed the most terrifying and dangerous creatures they encountered on their journies. Among the inmates of the Arcatraz are agents of the Black Dragonflight, demons of the Burning Legion, and even servants of the mighty Old Gods. When Kael'thas and his followers took the Keep, he sent a warden and guards to the Arcatraz. Kael's blood elves, however, were corruptible, and the prisoners have begun to break free...
Harbinger Skyriss is one of the Qiraji entities that the Naaru kept locked up within the Arcatraz. He is a servant of the Old Gods and seeks to usher in his masters' vision of conquering all of the worlds in the universe. His plans were surprisingly rewarded when he was picked up by the Naaru. He must have corrupted Warden Mellichar into releasing all the prisoners in The Arcatraz.
It took some until until we managed to kill this Boss in Heroic Mode, last but not least after about 10 Wipes in a row, we started the encounter vs Harbinger Skyriss and his Minions and received The Scroll of Skyriss and two of us finished the Trial of the Naaru: Tenacity. I won't do Arca Heroic again, i guess.. no, Never again ! No Screenshot available this time and I hope you don't mind not hearing some nice Music within the Clip, I thought it might be good Idea to post something with a more detailed Combat feeling.

Patch 2.4: Hotspots on PVP !

In its gestational stages, Patch 2.4 threatened to be a PvP landscape-changing patch with the controversial change to Life Tap and ill-advised buff to Flametongue. Those proposed changes won't make it live, however, and it looks like World of Warcraft PvP won't be drastically different than it was pre-patch. But there are several key changes that affect PvP, some classes more than others. Because there are no major significant changes to class mechanics or abilities, I don't expect the environment to change. But the best thing about PvP is that it's all about the little things, and Patch 2.4 brings a lot of little things into play.

The first 5-man wing within the Coilfang Reservoir, called the Slave Pens. The instance is harder than both the Blood Furnace and the Hellfire Ramparts, but the loot drops are of much greater quality.
In Heroic Mode (what we did today), the Slave Pens holds Skar'this the Heretic prisoner. He begins and ends the quest which allows players to enter the Serpentshrine Cavern. The quest involves killing Gruul the Dragonkiller and Nightbane in Karazhan. As of Patch 2.1.2, Serpentshrine Cavern no longer has a required attunement to enter. The attunement quest chain remains in-game, and can be completed if desired.
Quagmirran selects one random party member and initiates a channeled cone AoE nature damage attack in the direction of that party member. During the Acid Geyser, the tank may taunt Quagmirran to force the boss to focus the attack on him for the duration of the taunt debuff, but Quagmirran will turn back to his original target when the debuff ends if the Acid Geyser timer has not yet finished. After the channel is done, Quagmirran will run after the party member he was targetting, ignoring the tank.
